Mentoring
At NewPointe, Small Groups provide the relationships and leadership necessary to provide care for most of NewPointe's community of people.
However, sometimes, there are needs that extend beyond your small group - mentoring is NewPointe's way of caring for people going through the hardships of life. Mentors are men and women who come alongside people going through difficult times to encourage them, listen to them, and give them guidance. The focus is on restoring and rebuilding relationships and helping people get closer to God.
- Mentor Ministry: Our Mentor Ministry will facilitate individual growth by engaging participants in relationship-orientated activities designed for mentoring, education, and healing. Identified areas of impact include crisis management, financial challenges, and primary and secondary relationship issues, along with spiritual, emotional, and physical health. To start the process, visit NewPointe at the Dover Campus at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. If you have any questions, contact us at mentor@newpointe.org or call 330.602.3048.
Mentoring is also available at our Millersburg Campus. To set up an appointment, please call 330.943.2004.

- Financial Assistance: We recognize the emergency and immediate financial needs that people have. However we have decided to not offer emergency financial assistance, rather we desire to work long term with people to develop and improve their lives. There are several relief organizations in our community that we will refer people to that have emergency assistance funds available. Our mentors will come alongside the individual or couple to coach, encourage, make suggestions and support them through whatever struggle they are going through. Financial assistance may be considered as part of the overall plan. To get help an individual can come to the Dover NewPointe campus on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. to begin the mentor process.
Financial Assistance is also available at our Millersburg Campus. To set up an appointment, please call 330.943.2004.
