At NewPointe Community Church, our Small Groups provide the relationships and leadership necessary to provide care for most of NewPointe's community of people. 

Our Care Ministry exists to serve the emotional, spiritual and physical needs of those who are in "special care" situations, whether it is a person not in a Small Group or someone who has needs that extend beyond the care that a Small Group can provide.

* Benevolence/Financial Assistance: We have an application process for those seeking financial assistance. Applications are available at the church office. Funds distribution is made on a case by case basis pending a pastoral consultation.

* Financial Counseling: This is a one-on-one session to discuss financial issues and review your situation. Help in setting up and maintaining a budget and eliminating debt are available. This is a requirement of receiving financial assistance.

* Mentor Ministry: Pastoral and Lay counseling is available on a limited basis. Individual, family and marital counseling sessions are available by appointment only, with priority given to regular NPCC attendee’s. We can also refer people to local Professional Christian counselors.

* Mentor Mondays: Mentors are available by appointment on Monday evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Dover Campus. Mentors are men and women that come alongside people going through difficult times to encourage them, listen to them and give them guidance on their next steps in life.

* Hospital Visits: When illness and injury strike, the body is affected emotionally and spiritually. The mission of the Hospital Visitation Team is to help the hospitalized take their next step in Christ. It’s about loving others as Christ loved us. If you are, or know someone who is hospitalized, please call the church to let us know.

* Weddings: NPCC does allow regular attendee’s (at least 6 months attendance) to have their wedding at our facilities. For more information or to set up a meeting with Pastor Chad please call 330-602-5600 ext. 104. We also have a wedding manual with all guidelines and prices.

* Premarital Mentoring: We offer premarital mentoring to engaged couples. This is a requirement to be married at NewPointe.

* Marriage Savers Mentoring: Mentor couples meet with married couples who are experiencing problems in their marriage. The goal is to restore and rebuild the marriage.

* Funerals: If you are a regular NewPointe attendee who has experienced the loss of a family member and would like a NewPointe pastor to conduct the memorial service, please contact us to make arrangements.
