All interested applicants are required to complete a Resident Internship Application, using the Apply Here links under
each opening description. In order to be considered, applicants must complete all required pieces of the application,
including a resume and at least a one-minute video explaining why they want to be an intern and why they should be chosen.
A select group of applicants will be chosen for the interview process. After the interview process is complete, applicants will be
notified if they have been chosen for the Resident Internship Program.
DO RESIDENT INTERNS WORK ON SUNDAY?
Yes. All Interns will be members of our campus volunteer teams and will serve at our weekend services. The department supervisors
will determine the role for each Intern position.
IS THE RESIDENT INTERNSHIP PAID?
Yes. Interns are paid a $600 monthly stipend to help with the cost of living. However, if someone is earning college credit through
the Internship program, the guidelines set forth by the college or university in regards to compensation will be followed.
HOW CAN I GET A COLLEGE CREDIT?
If your college or university offers Resident Internship opportunities, we will work directly with your counselors and/or professors
to ensure you meet all the necessary requirements.
WILL NEWPOINTE HELP RESIDENT INTERNS WITH HOUSING?
Yes. NewPointe has limited housing opportunities available for Interns on a first-come, first-serve basis. In addition, Interns
can stay with “Host Families” from within the church.
WILL I HEAR FROM SOMEONE IMMEDIATELY?
You will receive a confirmation e-mail upon submitting your application. Due to the number of applications received, we will only
contact applicants we choose to interview. All interviewed applicants will receive communication once selections have been made.
DO I NEED A CAR?
Yes. The majority of a Resident Intern’s responsibilities require them to have reliable transportation. This ranges from daily
job responsibilities, being able to get to and from work, and serving at our weekend services.
