FOR ME PERSONALLY, IT HAS BEEN EYE OPENING TO DO "BEHIND THE SCENES" STUFF AT CHURCH, I LOVE IT, THE STAFF IS AWESOME TO WORK WITH, AND IT IS DEFINITELY MY CALLING TO BE IN MINISTRY."

Perks

STRETCH EXPERIENCES

NewPointe interns are expected to lead people and projects in a big way. This is not a time for job shadowing or minor tasks. This is a time for interns to become stronger leaders in ministry and to help them build a portfolio.

COACHING + DEVELOPMENT

NewPointe interns are given the support they need to grow further, faster in the following ways:

  • Mentor relationships with qualified supervisors
  • Weekly development times led by key staff members, volunteers, and community leaders
  • Leadership and ministry book studies
  • Personal coaching with our staff

CONTINUED EDUCATION

The NewPointe Institute provides interns the opportunity to learn through college-level courses. With qualified faculty teaching in their fields, interns gain a greater understanding of biblical studies and leadership.
