Dwight_web.pngWe believe that God has the power to change lives – and we have seen Him do just that. Marriages are being restored, addictions overcome, and people are taking steps toward reaching their full potential in Christ. Our desire is that here at NewPointe, you’ll experience these things for yourself.

Everything at NewPointe is designed with you in mind. Through the use of engaging worship, relevant messages, and creative environments, we strive to be a place where you and your family can connect with God.

We are one church in multiple locations across Northeast Ohio, so you can visit with us at any of our five campuses located in Canton, Coshocton, Dover, Millersburg and Wooster.

We know that coming to a new church can be overwhelming, so here are a few things you can expect at a NewPointe service:

When you visit NewPointe, we want you to know that you are our very important to us, and we want to meet you. So stop by any of our NEW HERE? areas (varies by campus) and get the info you need to stay in the know!

1. I keep hearing that NewPointe is a “Multisite Church.” What does that mean?

Answer: A multisite church means we are one church with multiple locations. Each of these locations is called a campus. The benefit of being a multisite church is that we can reach more communities without having to reproduce the entire church. We feel this is the most efficient and cost effective way to accomplish our mission to lead people to realize and reach their full potential in Jesus Christ.

2. What is the deal with the video message? Will you ever have a live local speaker on Sundays?

Answer: As part of our multisite strategy, our goal is to provide a consistent Sunday morning experience regardless of which campus you attend. Utilizing high-quality video allows us to deliver the same message to each campus. All other components of the Sunday service are live using our local ministry staff. As long as video teaching remains meaningful and helpful in accomplishing our mission, we will continue to utilize it.

3. Since you use video messages of Dwight Mason, who is the pastor of the other campuses?

Answer: Dwight is the Lead Pastor of NewPointe Community Church, which has multiple campuses: Canton, Coshocton, Dover, Millersburg and Wooster. Each of our campuses have campus pastors who help lead day-to-day operations and discern the ministry needs of those who attend NewPointe and live in their respective communities.

4. How often will Dwight visit and speak at the other campuses?

Answer: We cannot commit to how often Dwight will speak live at specific campus. Our campuses are a high priority for Dwight and for NewPointe Community Church. Live messages will be featured at each campus from time-to-time, but video teaching is our primary method of message delivery.

5. Does NewPointe have adult Sunday school?

Answer: Instead of providing adult Sunday school classes on Sunday mornings in the church building, we provide small group environments that meet at a variety of times during the week in various locations & people’s homes. We believe the small group is the best place for sustained life change to occur. In a small group, people study God’s Word together and are in a small enough environment to discuss the issues and challenges of life. It’s also where they pray and care for one another. Small Groups are made up of five to six couples or five to eight individuals. They are the places where people are personally encouraged and challenged in their relationship with God and each other.
