RISK

What’s the worst that could happen if you’d be willing to step out of your comfort zone and take a risk that God asks you to take?

NewPointe’s new message series, RISK, invites you to do exactly that – to leave your comfort zone and step into encounters with people who long for someone to take an interest in them – people with stories to tell and hearts that are desperate to experience God’s love reaching out to them through your smile, your encouragement, your transparency, your friendship.

Find out how you can make a difference for eternity for someone near you. It all starts when you take the RISK. What’s the worst that could happen?

Right On The Money

Everything comes from God, belongs to God, and is dispersed by God. We are the stewards – or managers – of His possessions (and yes, that includes money). Do we recognize God as the owner of it all – even the things we call “our belongings” – even “our” money? It’s one thing to say it – and even say you believe it. It’s another thing to live it out. This 4-part series helps us put earthly things into a heavenly perspective in order for us to get it right . . . on the money, so that God can use each of us to further His kingdom.

Connect

Imagine how different your outlook on life would be if you had full confidence in your relationship with God, the full support of other devoted Christ-followers, and full passion for sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with others in your life who need hope. In other words, imagine what it would be like to live life the way God intended you to live it: big and free and full of meaning. In this three-part series, CONNECT, Lead Pastor Dwight Mason will build a biblical case for the three vital relationships that we all need in order to realize and reach our full potential in Jesus Christ.

Each One-Reach One

Jesus’ message to His followers in Luke 15 is a clear statement about what’s most important to Him: He came to seek and save the lost. As Christ-followers, our primary mission is the same: to seek and save those who are far from God. But where do we begin? What does that look like in the 21st century? We will learn from guest speaker Doug Pollock how to live out our faith in a practical and meaningful way in order to share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Joy to Your World

We’ve all heard the famous Christmas Carol, Joy to the World, so much that we know it by heart. We expect – and want – to hear it often as we get closer to Christmas. We all like the idea of a baby, sent from heaven, bringing joy to the whole world. But did you know it’s way more personal than that? See, Christmas isn’t just about bringing joy to THE world. It’s about bringing joy to YOUR world. Real joy is available, attainable, and it’s specifically for YOU!

ENDGAME

In board games like checkers and chess, the endgame is the stage of the game when few pieces are left on the board. It’s the result of the planning and strategy carried out in the earlier stages of the game. It’s what it all comes down to.

Want to know a big difference between a game of checkers and a game of chess? It’s the number five. That’s the average number of moves ahead that an accomplished chess player will generally be thinking throughout the course of a game. While checkers is primarily played in the moment, chess requires an intentional strategy that is often won by thinking ahead.

What if life is more like chess than checkers? Would that change the way you “play the game”?

Like a game of chess, your life is not won by a single piece or a single move. It is a combination of many. It is a strategy that is developed and worked consistently toward an eternal goal. It means staying focused. It means being intentional. And, of course, it means playing several moves ahead.

What’s your life’s ENDGAME?
