Easter

Can an event from history change your future? Probably not, unless you’re talking about Easter. The events that unfolded on the very first Easter brought a sense of wonder, joy, and most of all, hope. But Easter is more than an event. It still brings hope. It still brings freedom. And it offers a better future for everyone.  This Easter, join us for an unforgettable experience that will forever change your view of history - and may forever change your future.

Face It, You're Skewed!

We all see the world differently - it’s called having a worldview. A worldview is like wearing invisible eyeglasses that impact the way we see reality. The right pair of glasses helps us see vividly and get in sync with reality. But the wrong pair of glasses can leave us worse off than the blind man - thinking we see clearly when in reality our vision is severely skewed. Join us for a powerful two-part series beginning March 13 as we learn how to see the world the way God sees it. Try on His glasses - you could probably use corrective lenses because Face It, You’re Skewed!

A.K.A.

What’s your name? How many times have you been asked that question? Your response is the same every time, right? You quickly spout off, my name is... without a second thought. But have you ever considered the fact that our names become a part of our identity? Our birth name may carry special family significance, or have a descriptive root meaning, and without even realizing it, the meaning behind our name helps shape who we are.

The same thing happens when we receive Jesus as the forgiver of our sins and the leader of our lives. We are given spiritual names, and those names become our new identity.

Join us as we look at five names God gives us as His children that reflect who we are in Him. Discover how to fully embrace your new identity in Christ - the A.K.A.s God has given you.

First Things First

A new year brings new beginnings. It also brings new thoughts, new resolutions, new to-do lists, and new priorities. But here’s the thing: The most important thing doesn’t always get the first priority - but it should. What will it take to stop being distracted by the urgent and start focusing on the meaningful?

If you’ve been at NewPointe long enough, you know we firmly believe that everyone spends forever somewhere. This weighty statement drives everything we do. And when we embrace it, we begin to see the world around us differently: our family, co-workers, friends, and neighbors.

So, what will it take for you to focus on what’s most important? Join us as we take a look at putting First Things First.

Christmas: From Manger to Majesty

As Christmas approaches each year, it’s easy to get caught up in the WHAT and WHEN of the season: what presents to buy, when to visit family, what to make for Christmas dinner . . . the list is endless. But Christmas isn’t really about all the WHATS and WHENS, it’s about WHO. Throughout the month of December, we will dig deeper into the birth, life, and death of Jesus, and we’ll discover how His time spent on earth as both man and God changed the course of history, and the course of our lives, forever.

Join us at one of our locations nearest you as we learn about the One who, over the course of 2,000 years, has impacted the world as He moved from manger to majesty.

Day of Generosity

God’s Word tells us that it is more blessed to give than to receive, but what does that really mean? The world around us often encourages us to look out only for ourselves, but God calls us to something different. He calls us to be generous with one another because generosity not only benefits those on the receiving end, but it also bears incredible benefits in our own lives.

Join us for a special message on generosity and how we can live a generous life.
