Repeat After Me

Have you ever tried to pray only to find yourself not knowing what to say or where to start? Even when we have the best of intentions we can often find ourselves stumbling, rumbling, and mumbling, when it comes to talking to God. Wouldn’t it be nice if we had a how-to guide for prayer—an outline or a set of instructions? The good news is this: We do! Jesus has given us a great template for knowing how to communicate with our heavenly Father.

Join us for Repeat After Me. Your prayer life may never be the same!

Momentum

Momentum. What an amazing ride it can be! Like the adrenaline of a roller coaster, when you ride momentum it seems like anything could happen and it probably will! Momentum gains traction, speeds up progress, and propels forward. Conversely, a lack of momentum causes frustration and stagnation. So how do we build momentum in the church?Join us for this important four-part series that will teach us how we get the momentum we need to move faster, grow stronger, and go farther—together.

Fear Not

Fear happens when we put our faith in the wrong things. Fear is what keeps us from trusting God and stepping into the plan He has for our lives. It’s true for us and it was true for some key people in the biblical account of the Christmas story. Zachariah, the shepherds, Joseph, and Mary all came face to face with their fears and insecurities. But the angel said unto them, "fear not.” Fear not. Because in the midst of dealing with that which we fear the most, God is there. And He assures us that He is in control and that His perfect love conquers fear.

Join us for a special Christmas series as we come face to face with our fears—and face to face with the God who crushes them.

I'M IN

The Bible describes the Christian life as a race. It’s a race to the finish, a race of endurance, a risky race. This race isn’t for the faint of heart. It’s not for those who like to play it safe. Yet it’s a race that God calls each of us to run. So we run. We run to take our cities for Christ. We run to set people free. We run after our friends and neighbors, introducing them to a God who loves them and pursues them. We run to win. No matter what He asks, no matter where He calls us, we’re in. Join us for this important 7-week series beginning October 15. Let’s run this race together. Are you in?

Trust Issues

We all have trust issues. Trust can be a difficult thing. People can lie to you, hurt you, and let you down. Let’s face it: Many of us have been burned because we’ve trusted too much. And then when God asks us to trust Him completely, well . . . it’s just not easy—especially when things happen in our lives that don’t seem to make sense. We want to trust God. We know we ought to trust God. Others even tell us that we just need to have more faith. So what do we do with our trust issues? What do we do when God doesn’t make sense to us?

Lynchpin

Prayer is as essential to knowing God and growing spiritually as breathing is to living and staying healthy. So what is prayer? Prayer is communicating with God. Because it is part of a relationship, prayer involves a dialogue, not merely a monologue.

While God wants us to talk to Him about our problems, plans, and concerns, there are also times when we should be silent before Him so that we can be sensitive and receptive to His desires and direction.

Communication is always a two-way street, and prayer is the lynchpin that holds it all together.

Uncommon

In this day and age, it's common to deal with unhealthy relationships, uncertainty about the future, and a general lack of motivation. In other words, it’s just so easy to get stuck in a rut. But as followers of Christ, we're called to shake things up. We’re the ones who should be doing things differently!

Join us for this four-week series exploring life beyond common. “Uncommon" covers topics like the future, the legacy you leave, and even relationships—basically God’s design for us to be set apart from the world's norm—what’s become so common. Why? Because normal isn’t working.
