Renew My Mind

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2 NLT
The chains of addiction can be broken. It comes by changing your thoughts. When you change your thoughts, you change your life. When you renew your mind, you renew your life. You can let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Truly.
My thinking rules my behavior and outcomes. When I work with God to change the way I think, I will be able to know and understand God’s plan and will for my life. This will move me into a life that is declared by God to be good, pleasing, and perfect. If it satisfies God, it will surely satisfy me!
These are the thoughts that will dominate my new free life:
Jesus Christ has broken the power of sin over my life.
My mind and my body are devoted to God.
The choice for the direction of my life every single day is mine.
I declare that sin will not rule my life.
Sin will not be my master.
I am a love slave of Jesus Christ.
God is a good, good Father.
Choosing my thoughts is choosing the state of my relationships with God and people. My life will never be more satisfying than my relationships. When I choose to surrender to God and think His thoughts, when I capture all my thoughts and submit them to the obedience of Christ, my relationship with Christ will be strong, and all of my other relationships can improve as well. Sin will NOT be my master.
