Today is a great day of opportunity as we kick off 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting as a church community. This is our opportunity to be involved in the powerful work of God in 2026, together and individually.
If you have been involved in previous years, I know you can give testimony as I can to the satisfaction of participation. You were part of something very significant. If you haven’t yet signed up for it this year, I strongly encourage you to do so. We need you to be part of this great opportunity.
Remember, you are more spiritual than physical. This means that your most challenging situation and circumstances will be won or lost in the spiritual realm, not the physical realm. You may not realize this unless you understand that your fight is not against other people and human efforts.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12 NIV
Your victories and losses will be directly related to your private world and the invisible forces of a darkness that seek to destroy your mission and momentum.
As everyone who consistently prays begins to discover, prayer accomplishes more than you realize because God is already doing much more than you can see.
Truth is, if you and I prayed as much as we worry, we would have a lot less to worry about. Worry must go. We must choose faith.
This is vital. We can never forget we are in a spiritual war. This war must be fought and won in the spiritual realm, with spiritual weapons.
Our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting are focused on how to do spiritual warfare through prayer.
Don’t miss this opportunity. It will change you. And you will be part of changing the world in Jesus’ name for Jesus’ sake.
