Lynchpin

Prayer is as essential to knowing God and growing spiritually as breathing is to living and staying healthy. So what is prayer? Prayer is communicating with God. Because it is part of a relationship, prayer involves a dialogue, not merely a monologue.

While God wants us to talk to Him about our problems, plans, and concerns, there are also times when we should be silent before Him so that we can be sensitive and receptive to His desires and direction.

Communication is always a two-way street, and prayer is the lynchpin that holds it all together.

Uncommon

In this day and age, it's common to deal with unhealthy relationships, uncertainty about the future, and a general lack of motivation. In other words, it’s just so easy to get stuck in a rut. But as followers of Christ, we're called to shake things up. We’re the ones who should be doing things differently!

Join us for this four-week series exploring life beyond common. “Uncommon" covers topics like the future, the legacy you leave, and even relationships—basically God’s design for us to be set apart from the world's norm—what’s become so common. Why? Because normal isn’t working.

You Asked For It

Most of us have at least one.

It’s that question that comes to mind whenever people talk about God, faith, or church - that question that makes us unsure of God, and if believing in Him makes any sense. We invited you to ask those tough questions, and you did. The whole month of July we’re tackling the toughest and most-asked questions about God, sex, alcohol, the Bible, and more. So join us - and bring a friend because . . . you asked for it!

Game On

Life was never meant to be about merely surviving. We were made for so much more. The truth is, we’re only really alive when we’re fully engaged. If you call NewPointe home, it’s time to take your game to the next level. In the game of life, there are no bleachers - there’s only the game. And you are crucial to winning. So get your Game On! - you’re gonna want to be part of the action!

Homies

Homies.
The people you roll with.
Your crew.
AKA your family.
We all have them. We can’t avoid them. So we might as well figure out how to live with them. We all want great families. Of course, it’s easier said than done . . . and everyone has an opinion. Culture, media, and even other people’s “homies” try to tell us who we should be and how we should do it. With so many voices attempting to shape our values, it can be difficult to stay on course and raise families that reflect what’s most important to us. Whether you’re a mom or a dad, a son or a daughter, aunt or uncle, grandma or grandpa, this series will help us all make sure that the people in our lives we call “homies" are well-loved and well-led.

Series runs April 23-May 28.

Easter

Can an event from history change your future? Probably not, unless you’re talking about Easter. The events that unfolded on the very first Easter brought a sense of wonder, joy, and most of all, hope. But Easter is more than an event. It still brings hope. It still brings freedom. And it offers a better future for everyone. This Easter, join us at NewPointe for an unforgettable experience that will forever change your view of history - and may forever change your future.

The Anger Epidemic

Everyone gets angry. But it seems that we're getting angrier easier and more often these days. We all agree that anger can be a destructive force that is not just directed at those we disagree with, it often targets the ones we love the most. It doesn’t have to be that way. If you’re tired of your own anger—or anyone else’s for that matter, join us for this important two-part series as we talk about the current anger epidemic, how we got here, and what we can do about it.

April 2 & 9
