Community Impact Day

Don’t just GO to church, BE the church

We believe God has called us to make a positive impact in our local communities. Each summer, we pick a Sunday to close our doors and go into the community to serve our neighbors, schools, parks, neighborhoods, first responders, and more.

On Sunday, July 27, 2025, we stepped out to serve—and the impact was powerful. Individuals, families, and small groups from every campus showed up to be the church in practical, meaningful ways.

We’re already looking forward to doing it again in 2026. Check back for more details.

There is no specific age requirement to serve. However, we encourage anyone younger than high school age to participate alongside a parent or guardian. A wide variety of service projects are available, so please be sure to choose one that is appropriate for the ages and abilities of everyone in your group.
On Community Impact Day, instead of holding regular church services, NewPointe takes church outside the walls by serving our communities. Typically, volunteers meet directly at their project locations around 8:30 AM to connect with project and organization leaders, receive instructions, and review the plan for the morning. Before getting started, each group takes a moment to pray for the organization they’re serving. Most projects wrap up by noon, and afterward, everyone heads back to their campus for a celebratory after party with food and refreshments.
